Did the children have coughs, colds, any illnesses or other
concerns when you first met?

She had a runny nose with congestion that
developed into a fever later.

She had
Guangzhou. Was not able to lift head at
7 mo., but caught up developmentally
within two months, except for speech. Speech was delayed with
almost no words until well past two - but when Katie started speaking
words were crystal clear, even to strangers.
Interestingly, first word spoken
was at 10 mo., 3 mo. after adoption, and was the Chinese word for milk.

I think the whole group had really bad
coughs. Mia had a little runny nose with the cough but nothing
major. Mia developed double ear infections on the plane ride
home. The cough lasted another 2-3 weeks after we came home.

Lauren did not have any respiratory
problems but she did have a nasty rash
where the split pants had chafed her thigh. Of the 4 girls in our group,
one had a nasty green nose & ran a fever
but the rest were ok. My daughter did develop
a cold before we got home & she ended up with an ear infection.
